Jimmie Brown
Head Principal
It is with great honor that I commence my second year at NOCCS, and I am deeply enthused to become a contributing member of this exceptional school community. Entering NOCCS with a background as an adept elementary educator and seasoned building administrator, my commitment to the field of education is complemented by my foremost role as a devoted father.
As we embark on the 2023-2024 school year, I am privileged to reflect on my 17 years within the realm of education. Commencing my academic journey at Southern University A&M College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, I have since served in various capacities, navigating through under-resourced educational settings in Louisiana and securing a tenured administrative position in Atlanta, Georgia. Each of these experiences has sculpted my comprehension of the profound impact education wields.
While my roots in education have been deeply embedded in the classroom, it is within the sphere of elementary administration that I have found the most profound fulfillment in my life's work. Anticipating another year of intellectual and personal development, I look forward to contributing meaningfully to the collective growth of our students at NOCCS.
